Brittany’s goal as a therapist is to provide a space where you can feel safe and comfortable to explore your thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences. She encourages her clients to express their concerns in any way that best suits them, whether that is through laughter, crying, or swearing, the space is yours. Brittany does not believe that there is a one-size fits all approach to therapy. She values collaboration in the therapeutic relationship and will work with you to develop a treatment plan and utilize tools that best suit you. You will work together to build understanding, acceptance, compassion and skills that you can utilize outside of sessions.

Brittany utilizes a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, pulling from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness.

For shorter-term treatment we will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
